Gardening Day

Today we had fun outside in the beautiful sunny weather. We are in the process of planting our carrot and string bean seeds for our homeschool studies. I always love this time of year when you can see all the little flowers starting to bloom in the fields and how nature just comes to life out of the blue. David practiced with some flash cards today with his numbers. We read a lot of books today and kind of took it easy with the other workbook stuff that we normally do. It was a short day due to a funeral we had to attend. We are looking forward to the warmer weather this week.

  1. We got our seeds planted too, in starter kits. The cactus we planted last week, are already coming up. I bought onion seeds by mistake, but I don't think they will grow. I think they are a cold weather plant. Tomatoes, cukes, and peppers round out our seeds.
